Concrete driveways that transform the look of your home

A well-finished concrete driveway does more than provide access — it sets the tone for your entire property. Tauranga Kerb and Paving specialises in concrete driveways that combine durability with a sharp, high-quality finish, giving your home instant street appeal.
Whether you prefer the clean simplicity of plain concrete or want something more distinctive, there are plenty of options to suit your style. Exposed aggregate adds texture and visual interest, coloured concrete allows you to complement your home, and broomed or decorative finishes provide both grip and a polished look.
Every driveway is built to handle everyday use while maintaining its appearance over time. You can rely on the groundwork and preparation being done properly — but what you’ll really notice is the finished result: a driveway that looks great, performs well, and adds lasting value to your property.

Plain and decorative concrete options

You can choose a finish that suits both your budget and the look you want to achieve.

Plain Concrete

A cost-effective, clean and durable option for driveways, paths and patios.

Exposed aggregate concrete

A decorative finish where the stone within the concrete is revealed, creating texture and visual interest. Ideal for pathways, entrances and feature areas.

Broomed and textured finishes

  • Broomed concrete provides texture and grip
  • Saw cuts can be added for visual detail and to help control cracking

Coloured Concrete

Pigments are added to the mix to achieve your preferred tone. Colours will vary slightly due to natural factors, giving each job a unique finish.

Concrete patios, paths, pool surrounds and spa pads designed for outdoor living

Concrete is a versatile, durable choice for outdoor spaces, allowing you to create areas that not only look great but work seamlessly with how you live. From entertaining areas through to practical walkways and poolside surfaces, each element can be tailored to suit your home and lifestyle.
Concrete pool surrounds
Concrete is ideal for pool surrounds, offering a durable, hard-wearing surface that can be finished for comfort and grip underfoot. It creates a clean, cohesive look around your pool while standing up to constant use and exposure to the elements.
Concrete patios
A concrete patio creates a natural extension of your home, giving you a dedicated space for entertaining, BBQs or relaxing outdoors. With a range of finishes available, you can achieve anything from a clean, modern look to a more decorative feature that complements your home.
Concrete paths
Concrete paths provide structure and flow around your property, making it easier to move between spaces while keeping things tidy and defined. They are practical, low maintenance and can be finished to blend in or stand out, depending on your preference.
Concrete spa pads
A concrete spa pad provides a stable, level base that is built to support the weight of your spa and ongoing use. It’s a simple but essential part of creating a safe, long-lasting setup for your outdoor space.
"Great service and straight up and honest contractor. No muck abouts and really flexible when it came to our drive way pour. Jeff was able to accommodate and organise drainlayer to do additional work to ensure we got the best value for money while the job was being completed."

TESTIMONIAL

No — we do not carry out crack repairs or resurfacing. If concrete is failing, the best long-term solution is removal and replacement to ensure a solid, durable result.

Yes. We remove existing concrete and replace it with new installations, ensuring the base and preparation are done properly for a lasting result.

The base supports the concrete. Poor preparation can lead to movement, cracking and drainage issues. Proper compaction and drainage planning are essential for long-term performance.

Steel mesh can be used to help bind the concrete together and strengthen it but is by no means essential. While the use of steel reinforcing doesn’t guarantee against crazing (tiny cracking) it does help. Cracks in concrete occur due to many factors including weather conditions on the day, shrinkage during drying and subgrade settlement. Every precaution during and after excavation, preparation and placement is taken to safeguard against cracking.

Both concrete and paving are excellent options, and the right choice often depends on the look you want and how the space will be used.
Concrete is typically chosen for its strength, durability and clean, seamless finish. It performs particularly well in high-use areas like driveways, patios and pool surrounds, and generally requires less ongoing maintenance as there are no joints for weeds to grow through or pavers to shift over time. It can also be customised with coloured and exposed aggregate finishes to suit your home.
